Astrion is officially available.​


Astrion is a premium dark XenForo 2.3 style built around a futuristic cosmic command interface, with deep navy surfaces, icy cyan illumination, restrained amber accents and an atmospheric space backdrop.

This one has had a lot of attention put into the smaller details. Rather than simply changing XenForo’s colours, Astrion has been refined across the forum list, threads, direct messages, member areas, navigation, reactions, moderation controls and responsive layouts.

The aim was to create something immersive and distinctive while still keeping XenForo familiar and comfortable to actually use.

New style looks great! *Starts saving money for future purchases, hehe*

I've noticed that uploading a banner in Astrion (in the member profile page), does not yield any changes (in other words, trying to upload a banner image does not change the look of the banner space). Is that coded on purpose?

I'll take a look this may be a bug :-)
 
The uploaded XenForo profile banner was not showing because Astrion was using the background shorthand on .memberHeader-main.

That property resets the element’s background-image, so XenForo’s dynamically applied profile banner image was being cleared even though the banner itself had uploaded correctly.

The fix was to stop using background: ... on the profile header and use background-color only where needed, allowing XenForo to keep control of the uploaded banner image. That was the little critter in this bug, but now resolved in 1.0.0a :-)

Lines have also been removed to further enhance banner viewing
 
Awesome; the ability to further personalize a profile page with custom banner graphic appeals to a lot of forum members. :)

The profile layout looks really nice overall. One small thing I noticed is that the Eggy avatar feels a little too close to the upper-left corner of the profile header/card, which makes it look slightly pressed into the edge rather than intentionally placed.

It might help to give the avatar a bit more breathing room by adding some top and left offset - perhaps around 12–20px, depending on the responsive layout - or by increasing the profile-header padding and positioning the avatar within that padded area. That would preserve the overlapping-banner effect while making the avatar feel more balanced and visually separated from the container border.
