Earlier today I found and resolved a couple of issues affecting new Eggy BNC registrations at https://register.eggy.net
In some cases, the first IRC network added during registration was being created correctly but was not connecting automatically. The network would connect after simply saving it again through the BNC dashboard.
I also found an issue where the linked Eggy/XenForo account could fail to be created if the email address contained different capitalisation, despite the BNC account itself being created successfully.
Both issues have now been fixed.
New registrations should now:
If you registered recently and your IRC network is showing "On IRC: No", or you cannot access the linked Eggy forum account, please contact us and we will check it.
Existing BNC accounts are unaffected.
