Eggy Email Change Approval adds a controlled approval step to XenForo's normal member email-change process.
Instead of allowing a member's requested email change to proceed immediately, the request is placed into a dedicated Admin CP approval queue. Staff can review the member, their current account email and the requested new address before deciding whether the change should be approved or rejected.
Approved requests are handed back to XenForo's native email-change service, so the add-on does not replace or bypass XenForo's normal account verification process.
The add-on is designed for communities where account ownership, security, paid memberships or access control make unattended email changes undesirable.
Staff receive a dedicated Email Change Approval area under Eggy Tools with pending requests, recent decisions, review controls, configurable safeguards and built-in diagnostics.
It also safely handles members submitting another email-change request while one is already awaiting review. Depending on the configured behaviour, the previous request can remain protected or be superseded by the newer request without leaving multiple conflicting approvals active.

Installation
1. Download the Eggy Email Change Approval ZIP package.
2. In the XenForo Admin Control Panel, go to:
Add-ons → Install/upgrade from archive
3. Upload the ZIP and allow XenForo to complete the installation.
4. After installation, open:
Eggy Tools → Email Change Approval
5. Review the Settings page and configure which members require approval, any exempt user groups, rejection behaviour, request expiry and member notices.
6. Run the built-in Diagnostics page to confirm the email-change service, database storage and add-on integration are operating correctly.
7. Test the workflow with a non-administrator test account before enabling it for your live community.
No manual file edits or database changes are required.
