Eggy Thread Gallery transforms image-heavy XenForo discussions into complete interactive galleries while keeping normal XenForo threads and posts as the source of all content.
Instead of creating a separate media library, members continue posting images normally inside discussions. Eggy Thread Gallery collects those images into a dedicated gallery interface where users can browse, discover, filter, view, rank and vote on individual images.
Images can be gathered from across the entire thread, including multiple pages of replies. Both native XenForo image attachments and supported embedded images can be presented through the gallery.
Version 1.0.2 greatly expands the gallery experience with optional public-facing tabs controlled through the Admin CP.
Available gallery views include Gallery, Latest, Popular, Contributors, My Images, Voting, Slideshow, Statistics and an optional Discussion tab for returning directly to the original thread.
Latest provides a chronological view of the newest images posted to the discussion.
Popular highlights images that have received genuine XenForo reaction engagement. Images without positive engagement are excluded, keeping the Popular view meaningful rather than simply duplicating the main gallery.
Contributors shows the members responsible for images in the current thread together with their contribution counts. Their images can be expanded and hidden directly from the contributor view.
My Images gives logged-in members a dedicated view containing only the images they personally contributed to that thread.
The Slideshow view provides automatic and manual image playback with previous and next navigation, pause/resume controls, thumbnail navigation and access to the original image and discussion. Mobile behaviour has been specifically optimised so automatic slideshow changes do not unexpectedly move the visitor away from the image stage.
Statistics provides an instant overview of the current gallery, including total images, contributor count, attachment and external-image totals, reaction score, first and latest contributions and the top contributor.
Version 1.0.2 also introduces dedicated per-image voting.
Voting applies to individual gallery images rather than entire posts, allowing multiple images contained inside the same post to be voted on independently.
Administrators can choose between three voting modes:

Up Vote Only
Up Vote Only provides a positive-only voting environment for communities that do not want negative voting.
Votes are submitted using AJAX without refreshing the gallery page. Once a member casts a vote it is treated as final and the voting control changes to a compact Voted state. Where self-voting is disabled, a compact No self-vote indicator is shown on the member's own images.
Voting remains completely separate from XenForo reactions. Popular continues to represent normal XenForo engagement while Voting represents deliberate image votes, making the system suitable for competitions, screenshot contests, photography threads, artwork showcases, community events and similar uses.
The Admin CP provides dedicated controls for public gallery tabs and voting behaviour, allowing site owners to decide which parts of the experience are available to their community.
Public navigation is responsive. Desktop layouts can display the complete gallery navigation while smaller mobile screens use a compact priority navigation system with a More menu, avoiding the need to horizontally swipe through a long row of tabs.
The integrated image viewer provides previous and next navigation, thumbnail browsing, image information, source-member details, source-post information, sharing tools, full-size image access and direct navigation back to the original XenForo discussion.
Eggy Thread Gallery does not create independent albums, separate gallery comments or a parallel media library. XenForo threads, posts, attachments, permissions and reactions remain authoritative.
The result is a powerful visual layer for XenForo discussions that gives existing community content a gallery-style experience without requiring members to adopt a separate publishing workflow.

Requirements
XenForo 2.3.12 or newer.
No XenForo Media Gallery installation is required.
No third-party dependencies.
Installation
1. Download the Eggy Thread Gallery ZIP archive.
2. In XenForo Admin CP, go to Add-ons.
3. Select Install/upgrade from archive.
4. Upload the Eggy Thread Gallery customer installer ZIP.
5. Complete the installation.
6. Go to Admin CP → Eggy Tools → Thread Gallery to configure the add-on.
7. Review the available settings, including the gallery button label, forum availability and native attachment display.
8. Open a thread containing images and use the Thread Gallery button to test the viewer.
