Guest Mode is an optional extension for Eggy RPG 1.7.3 that lets unregistered visitors preview your RPG before they decide to create an account.
Normally, guests who try to access the RPG would simply be asked to log in or register. Guest Mode changes that experience by allowing them to enter selected parts of the RPG in a controlled, read-only preview.
Visitors can explore supported areas, view the world and map, browse shop items, look through public marketplace or auction content, view quests, events, collections and rankings, and get a much clearer idea of what your RPG offers.
Anything that would actually change gameplay remains locked. Guests cannot move around the map, start combat, hunt enemies, purchase or sell items, craft, progress quests, trade, place auction actions, post messages in RPG chat or perform NPC actions that would alter player or storyline data.
The normal player character panel is also replaced with a dedicated Guest Adventurer preview panel, giving visitors a clear explanation that they are viewing the RPG in Guest Mode together with options to log in or register and start playing.
Site owners can control which supported preview areas are available from the Admin CP, making Guest Mode suitable for both a small RPG preview and a much more complete public showcase.
Guest Mode is designed to turn the RPG itself into part of your registration experience. Instead of asking visitors to register before they know what they are joining, you can show them the game first and let the RPG give them a reason to sign up.
Guest Mode integrates directly into the Eggy RPG Extensions area and remains completely optional. Disabling or removing the extension returns Eggy RPG to its normal guest behaviour.

Installation
1. Ensure Eggy RPG 1.7.3 is already installed and active.
2. In the XenForo Admin CP, go to:
Add-ons → Install/upgrade from archive
3. Upload the Guest Mode 1.7.3 ZIP file and complete the installation.
4. Once installed, go to:
Eggy RPG → Extensions → Guest Mode
5. Configure which RPG areas guests are allowed to preview and save your settings.
No manual file editing is required.
