Eggy has been upgraded to XenForo 2.3.13

Compatibility testing across our current products and styles is now complete.​


XenForo 2.3.13 Upgrade

Eggy is now running on XenForo 2.3.13.

Following the upgrade, I carried out a staged compatibility audit across the Eggy products and styles currently installed on the site.

The results were clean.


Add-on Compatibility

A total of 12 currently active Eggy products were audited against XenForo 2.3.13.

Testing covered package integrity, PHP compatibility, XenForo registrations, routes, listeners, class extensions, cron callbacks, template modifications and live runtime behaviour.

The more complex products were also exercised directly after the upgrade, including:
  • Eggy RPG
  • Eggy Pool
  • Messenger
  • Eggy Fishing & Aquarium
  • ROM Console
  • Eggy Generator
  • Eggy SEO Autopilot

✓ 0 new actionable server errors
✓ 0 broken add-on registrations
✓ 0 pending add-on processing actions
✓ 0 compatibility failures

Eggy Thread Style Studio also passed its structural and XenForo runtime compatibility checks. Its end-user style application workflow was not included in the live smoke testing.


Style Compatibility

The currently imported Eggy style range was also audited against XenForo 2.3.13.

This included:

  • Nerivale
  • Vaelora
  • Velqeris
  • Lunareth
  • Nexora — Cosmic
  • Nexora — Eclipse
  • Nexora — Ember
  • Nexora — Pulse
  • Nexora — Aurora

The style audit checked the live imported style data alongside the physical Eggy style assets.

✓ 0 XenForo 2.3.13 template conflicts
✓ 0 outdated template candidates
✓ 0 broken local assets
✓ 0 corrupt images
✓ 0 missing CSS or LESS asset references
✓ 0 warnings
✓ 0 failures

The current styles rely primarily on XenForo style properties and extra.less, with no detected conflicts against the templates changed in XenForo 2.3.13.


Current Status: Compatible with XenForo 2.3.13​

All currently installed and audited Eggy products and styles are operating normally on XenForo 2.3.13.

Products which are not currently installed on Eggy were not included in the live production audit. If a compatibility issue is reported with one of those products, it will be investigated individually.

For the current Eggy installation, the XenForo 2.3.13 upgrade and compatibility audit are complete.

Eggy is now fully running on XenForo 2.3.13.​
