Expansion Hub is the new foundation for bringing larger features, progression systems and future experiences into Eggy Pool without continually overloading the base game itself.

And the very first feature arriving through Expansion Hub is a big one...

Trophies & Achievements​

Pool now has a complete progression system built around the way you actually play.

Every match, win, streak, opponent and successful pot can contribute towards something bigger.

Expansion Hub 1.0.0 launches with:

The achievement system is fully manageable through the XenForo ACP.

Administrators can:

• Disable or retire achievements
• Organise achievements into categories
• Configure Trophy Points and rarity
• Create secret achievements
• Build prerequisite chains
• Create repeatable achievements
• Add cooldowns and maximum award limits
• Set availability dates
• Control whether progress is shown
• Add custom unlock messages

Advanced conditions can use:

AT LEAST

along with ranges, minimum samples, match windows, opponent requirements, AI difficulty, prerequisites and more.

Invalid combinations are rejected instead of silently creating broken achievements.

AI Opponent integration​

Eggy Pool: AI Opponent is optional.

Expansion Hub works perfectly well with normal human Pool gameplay.

If AI Opponent is installed, additional AI-specific tracking becomes available, including things such as:

AI victories
Difficulty-specific achievements
AI match progression
AI-focused milestones

So communities using the AI extension get an additional layer of progression automatically.

Underneath the shiny trophies is a tracking system designed to avoid duplicate or incorrect awards.

Instead of turning the base Pool package into an enormous collection of unrelated systems, Expansion Hub gives those features their own dedicated home.

So while 1.0.0 begins with trophies...

this is really the start of the next stage of Eggy Pool.
