Announcement Eggy Pool: Leaderboards & Statistics — Confirmed Upcoming Extension

The next confirmed extension planned for Eggy Pool is Leaderboards & Statistics.

This extension will be made available free of charge to customers who have purchased the base Eggy Pool add-on.

There is currently no announced release date. Development will be approached carefully so the new systems can build on the existing game without unnecessarily interfering with the base add-on.

The aim is to introduce a much deeper competitive and statistical layer around Eggy Pool, giving players more reasons to keep playing, compete with one another and follow their progress over time.

Leaderboards​

The extension is planned to include a dedicated leaderboard system covering areas such as:

• Most games played
• Most games won
• Highest win percentage
• Most balls potted
• Most 8-balls potted
• Most human opponents defeated
• Most AI opponents defeated
• Longest winning streak
• Current winning streak
• Most games completed
• Most successful breaks
• Most consecutive pots
• Most matches won without fouling

AI statistics will also be treated separately where appropriate, allowing rankings such as:

• Most AI opponents defeated
• AI victories by difficulty
• Highest AI difficulty defeated
• Consecutive AI victories
• Best AI win percentage
• Most AI games played

This is important because defeating higher difficulty AI opponents should carry more meaning than simply repeatedly defeating the easiest opponent.

Time-Based Rankings​

Where practical, major leaderboards are also planned to support different periods such as:

• All Time
• This Month
• This Week
• Today

This gives newer players an opportunity to compete without all-time statistics permanently favouring members who have simply been playing the longest.

Personal Statistics​

Every player will have access to much more detailed statistics covering their own Eggy Pool activity.

Planned statistics include:

• Games played
• Games won
• Games lost
• Win percentage
• Games forfeited
• Total balls potted
• Average balls potted per match
• 8-balls potted
• Fouls committed
• Successful breaks
• Balls potted from the break
• Longest pot streak
• Longest winning streak
• Current winning streak
• Human opponent record
• AI opponent record
• AI victories by difficulty
• Highest AI difficulty defeated
• Recent form

Recent form could provide a simple view such as:

W W L W W

giving players an immediate indication of how they have been performing recently.

Public Player Statistics​

Statistics are also planned to have a public-facing element so members can view another player's Pool record.

This could include their overall record, potting statistics, winning streaks, AI performance and current leaderboard positions.

For example:

#12 Balls Potted
#2 AI Victories

Privacy and administrative controls will be included so communities can decide which statistics are public and which features are enabled.

Head-to-Head Records​

Another planned feature is direct player comparison.

When viewing another player, you will be able to see how the two of you have performed against each other, including areas such as:

• Games played against each other
• Wins and losses
• Balls potted
• Win percentage
• Winning streaks

This should help create genuine rivalries between regular Pool players.

Community Statistics​

The extension is also planned to provide wider Eggy Pool statistics across the community, including information such as:

• Total games played
• Total games completed
• Total balls potted
• Human vs human games
• Human vs AI games
• Games played today
• Games played this week
• Games played this month
• Most active players
• Longest winning streaks

There are also some more interesting statistical ideas being considered, such as identifying a player's most frequently played opponent, closest rival or toughest opponent.

Built For Future Eggy Pool Features​

This extension is intended to become more than a simple leaderboard page.

The statistics collected here can provide the foundation for other planned Eggy Pool developments, including areas such as:

Trophies
Player Rankings
Clubs
Competitive Seasons and Events

The underlying system will therefore be designed with future expansion in mind rather than limiting it to a handful of basic counters.

Confirmed For Development​

Eggy Pool: Leaderboards & Statistics is now a confirmed upcoming extension.

As with the previously confirmed AI Opponent expansion, the intention is to continue expanding Eggy Pool through dedicated extensions while keeping the core game stable.

There is no release date being announced at this stage.

As this extension is still in the planning and development stage, feature suggestions and feedback are very welcome.

If there are particular leaderboard categories, personal statistics, public statistics, AI records, head-to-head comparisons or other competitive features you would like to see included, feel free to suggest them.

Good ideas raised by users may be considered for inclusion where they fit naturally within the scope of the extension.

The goal is to make Leaderboards & Statistics something that is genuinely useful and enjoyable for the people actually playing it within their community, so feedback during development is encouraged.
