Nerivale 1.0.0 is now available
I'm pleased to announce the release of Nerivale 1.0.0, a new premium style created specifically for XenForo 2.3.x.
Nerivale has been designed for communities that want to move beyond the conventional XenForo appearance while retaining the familiar structure, usability and functionality members already know.
Rather than simply changing colours around the default interface, Nerivale introduces a more complete visual identity across the forum, giving communities a distinctive presentation without sacrificing everyday usability.

More Than a Recolour
Nerivale isn't intended to be a simple recolour of XenForo's default style.
The design extends across the major areas members interact with every day, including navigation, forum nodes, discussion areas, sidebar blocks, buttons, controls, typography and supporting interface elements.
These individual details work together to create a consistent Nerivale identity rather than leaving parts of the forum looking disconnected from the overall design.
At the same time, the underlying XenForo experience remains immediately recognisable, allowing existing members to move around the community naturally.
A Complete Forum Presentation
One of the main goals behind Nerivale was to make the forum itself feel like a deliberately designed environment rather than a collection of independently styled components.
Forum categories, nodes, navigation, activity information and supporting content areas have therefore been considered as parts of the same overall presentation.
This gives Nerivale a much stronger visual presence while allowing the actual community content to remain the focus.
Designed for Everyday Use
A strong visual style still needs to work as an actual community interface.
Nerivale has therefore been designed with usability in mind alongside its visual presentation.
Spacing, contrast, typography, navigation and interactive elements have been balanced to keep discussions readable and the interface practical during longer browsing sessions.
The design avoids unnecessary visual clutter and allows accent elements to provide emphasis where they are most useful rather than competing constantly for attention.

Nerivale's design is flexible enough to work across a wide variety of community types, including:

Responsive Design

Mobile has been considered as part of the design rather than simply being treated as a reduced version of the desktop layout.
Familiar XenForo Functionality
Although Nerivale introduces a substantially different presentation, it remains built around XenForo's established structure.
Members can continue using the forum normally without having to learn an unfamiliar navigation system or completely different interface.
The objective is to provide the individuality of a custom-designed community while retaining the familiarity and usability that makes XenForo effective.

Nerivale is currently available free for a limited time as part of its initial release.
This complimentary availability will not be permanent, and Nerivale may move to a paid release in the future.
