Website Registration Troubleshooting

All new BNC accounts must be created through the official website registration process.

Register at:

https://eggy.net/register

IRC and Eggdrop account registration is no longer available.

Information required during registration

You will be asked to provide:

• A BNC username.
• A valid email address.
• A password.
• Password confirmation.

The registration flow may also allow you to add your first IRC network. You can choose to add the network during registration or add it later from the dashboard.

If registration does not continue

Check that:

• Every required field has been completed.
• The email address is in a valid format.
• The password and confirmation match.
• Your selected username is available.
• Your browser has not blocked required JavaScript.
• You have not submitted the form repeatedly while account creation is still processing.

If the account was created but no network was added

This does not mean registration failed.

Sign in to the dashboard and open Networks to add your first user-managed IRC network.

When opening a support thread

Include:

• The step where registration stopped.
• The exact message displayed.
• Whether the account appears to have been created.
• Whether you received any account email.
• The approximate time of the attempt.

Do not post the password you entered during registration.
