Account Restored After Suspension

When an appeal or review is approved, the account may be restored.

For security, the password used before suspension may not be restored automatically.

What to do after restoration

1. Read the account-restoration email or System Inbox message.
2. Use any temporary password supplied by support, where applicable.
3. Otherwise request a password reset through the official recovery page.
4. Sign in to the dashboard.
5. Check your account email and network settings.
6. Update the saved password in your IRC client.
7. Reconnect each required IRC network.

Periodic compliance checks

Restored accounts may be reviewed from time to time to ensure continued compliance with the Terms and Conditions.

This does not mean staff are tracking your conversations on external IRC networks.

Account reviews focus on information such as:

• Account configuration.
• Approved vHost use.
• WHOIS compliance.
• Account limits.
• Reports received from IRC networks.

If access still fails

Create an Account Support thread and include:

• Your BNC username.
• The date the account was restored.
• Whether dashboard login works.
• Whether BNC login works.
• The exact connection error.

Never post the temporary or newly reset password.
