Changing a vHost From the Dashboard
Use the Vhosts area to browse approved hostnames and apply one to a selected IRC network.
Applying a vHost
A reconnect is normally required before the new vHost appears in IRC WHOIS.
Free and Premium options
Available vHosts may depend on:
A Premium-only vHost cannot be applied without an active Premium entitlement.
Compatibility
Many approved vHosts use IPv6.
An IPv6 vHost requires an IPv6-capable IRC server.
If the selected network fails to reconnect:
Do not manually change BindHost outside the dashboard to bypass availability or account restrictions.
Use the Vhosts area to browse approved hostnames and apply one to a selected IRC network.
Applying a vHost
- Open Vhosts.
- Browse or search the available hostname library.
- Select the required vHost.
- Choose the IRC network where it should be used.
- Select Apply & Reconnect.
- Allow the selected network to reconnect.
