Choosing and Applying a vHost

Approved vHosts are selected through the Vhosts area of the dashboard.

Apply a vHost

  1. Sign in to the dashboard.
  2. Open Vhosts.
  3. Browse or search the available hostname library.
  4. Select the vHost you want to use.
  5. Choose the IRC network where it should be applied.
  6. Select Apply & Reconnect.
  7. Allow the selected network to reconnect.

The new hostname normally becomes visible after the IRC network completes its reconnect.

Available options

The dashboard may show:

  • vHosts available to your current account.
  • Premium-only vHosts.
  • The vHost currently in use.
  • Filters or categories for finding a suitable hostname.

Some options may be unavailable because of:

  • Your account plan.
  • IPv4 or IPv6 compatibility.
  • The IRC server configured for the selected network.
  • A temporary hostname or network problem.

Always apply vHosts through the dashboard so the website and live BNC configuration remain consistent.
