Sending an IRC Inbox Reply From the Dashboard
Dashboard replies must be enabled before a reply can be sent.
Send a reply
Reply processing
A submitted reply is placed into the reply queue.
The external worker then attempts to send it through the correct BNC network and thread.
Do not repeatedly submit
Repeatedly pressing the reply button can create duplicate queued messages.
Submit the reply once and wait for one of the following states:
Network context
Always check the network shown on the thread.
The same nickname may exist on more than one IRC network, and the reply must be sent through the network attached to that thread.
Dashboard replies must be enabled before a reply can be sent.
Send a reply
- Open the required IRC Inbox thread.
- Confirm that the network and nickname are correct.
- Enter your reply.
- Submit the reply once.
- Wait for the status to update.

- Pending — The reply is queued and waiting to be processed.
- Sent — The worker reports that the reply was sent.
- Failed — The worker could not complete the reply.
