Using the Command Tab

The Command area creates a separate IRC connection command for each network stored on your account.

A typical command looks like:

Code:
/server -m bnc.eggy.net +5000 Username/Network:<your BNC password>

The dashboard fills in:

  • Your exact BNC username.
  • The selected network name.
  • The Eggy BNC server.
  • The SSL/TLS port.

You must replace:

Code:
<your BNC password>

with your current account password before using the command.

Copying a command

Select the copy button beside the required network.

The button should briefly confirm that the command was copied.

Paste it into your IRC client's command window and replace the password placeholder.

Security warning

The dashboard intentionally shows a password placeholder rather than placing your real password into the copied text.

Do not post your completed command on the forum.

Before sharing an example, replace the password with:

Code:
<password hidden>

If no commands appear

Open the Networks area and confirm that at least one user-managed IRC network has been added.
